Background
The Rhode Island Primary Care Political Action Committee (RI Primary Care PAC) aims to support the legislative priorities of all Primary Care physicians in our state, as identified by the Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians and other primary care state specialty societies. The PAC shall also serve to increase the visibility of our specialties amongst lawmakers in the state, expanding our influence on vital health-related legislation. RI Primary Care PAC has identified a number of priority areas on which to focus when making decisions on support for political candidates. Our PAC plans to support candidates from any political party who prioritize or support our positions on these key issues.
